Seismic Stuff manufactures a complete Man Overboard System which controls the complete alarm system shipwide interfacing to sounders, indicator lights as well as providing an interlock connection for use with the gun controller.
The system features a single central controller which is based around twin redundant 24V power supplies. Configuration is simple with all remote wiring coming into screw terminals on the main PCB. Operation is based around intuitive icon based labels on pushbuttons and indicators.
Remote switches are emergency stop type with twist to release action. Once triggered the system cannot be reset by releasing the emergency stop, but only from the central controller. Once activated Xenon flashers and remote horns sound the alarm shipwide, in addition the gun controller is deactivated via the interlock connection.
The Sounders can be silenced from the main controller while the visual indicators are active and gun controller inhibited. This would typically be the case after the response team have been alerted but the incident is still in progress. When the incident is over the system can be completely reset.
